Joining an eCOA study

Join an eCOA study in StudyWorks through your Clario Global Account.

These joining paths cover site users and CRO or sponsor users, whether you're new to StudyWorks or returning. Use this page to choose the guide that matches your situation.

Before you begin

Have these details ready before you start. If you're missing something, ask your CRO or sponsor study management team.

  • A Clario Global Account (or an invitation email to create one)

  • Your correctly formatted study name

  • Your site number (site users)

Study name

The study name is how the study appears in StudyWorks. Have it ready when you press Join a Study.

Study names usually combine the sponsor name and protocol number. For example, if the sponsor is Clario and the protocol number is CL-191903, the study name may look like CLARIO-CL-191903.

Your CRO or sponsor study management team can provide the exact study name to enter.

Site number

The site number is your clinical site's unique identifier in StudyWorks. If you don't know it, confirm it using the Principal Investigator's name and your clinic's mailing address, or ask your CRO or sponsor team.

Your CRO or sponsor study management team can provide this information.

Frequently asked questions

Why is there an error when I enter the study name?

Study names in the Clario Portal may differ from the name in your clinical protocol. For example, a study named CLARIO-CL-191903 in your protocol might appear as CL-191903 - eCOA in the portal. The sponsor prefix is removed and eCOA is added after a space-hyphen-space.

Enter the study name exactly as your CRO or sponsor study management team provides it.
