Joining an eCOA study

Overview
Starting from the Global Dashboard, click Register a Site / Join a Study.
Click the empty checkbox next to eCOA and then click Next.
Have your Study Name and Site Number (if applicable) ready to enter and press Next.
Enter your Study Name and press Next.
Record if you have an existing StudyWorks.
(1)You will be required to enter your User Name and Password when you select Yes.
Identify if you are a Site User or a Sponsor / CRO User. Considerations are listed below:
(1) Site Users without an existing StudyWorks account need to select the site they’d like to join.
(2)Site selection is not required for those Site Users who already have a StudyWorks account.
(3) Sponsor / CRO Users without an existing StudyWorks account need to enter their contact information. They will then select their Domain before completing the Join a Study process.
(4) Sponsor / CRO Users with an existing StudyWorks account need only to select their Domain before completing the Join a Study process.
Click Okay to dismiss the success message that appears at the end of the process.
This article is divided into multiple sections because the Join a Study process varies depending on your role and whether or not you have an existing StudyWorks account.
The process begins the same for all users. So, follow the steps outlined in Joining an eCOA study and then use the article's table of contents to jump to the section that best suits your situation.

Joining an eCOA study
1. Starting from the Global Dashboard, click Register a Site / Join a Study.
2. Click the empty checkbox next to eCOA (ePROs/ClinROs on Clario Devices, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), or Web) or Real World Evidence.
3. Click Next.
4. Review the instructions to ensure you have what you need and then click Next.
5. Enter your Study Name and then press Next.
The Study Name is typically provided in the documents given to you at the investigator meeting, or you can obtain it through your Sponsor or CRO.
Joining a study as a Site User without a previous StudyWorks account
The instructions that follow are specific to a Site User (i.e., Principal Investigator, Sub-Principal Investigator, Site Study Coordinator) that does not have an existing StudyWorks account.
1. Click No and then Next.
2. Click Site User.
3. Click the drop-down arrow next to Select an option and then select the most suitable role.
4. Select the site you want to join by clicking on the row that displays your site's information and then press Submit Request.
5. Press Okay to dismiss the Success message. You will be redirected back to the Global Dashboard.
6. You'll receive an email that confirms your request to join a study is under consideration.
7. You'll receive a second email notification once your access request is approved. Click the Click Here link. The Clario Global Account login page will launch. You can now login to your account and access the study for which you were just approved.
Joining a study as a Site User after already having a StudyWorks account
The instructions that follow are specific to a Site User (i.e., Principal Investigator, Sub-Principal Investigator, Site Study Coordinator) that has an existing StudyWorks account.
These instructions pick up from when you entered the Study Name.
1. Click Yes.
2. The previous screen will expand and you'll now need to enter your User Name and Password for your existing StudyWorks account. Then press Link Account.
3. Click Yes to complete this process and be brought back to the Clario Global Dashboard.
4. You'll receive an email that confirms your request to join a study is under consideration.
5. You'll receive a second email notification once your access request is approved. Click the Click Here link. The Clario Global Account login page will launch. You can now login to your account and access the study for which you were just approved.
Joining a study as a Sponsor/CRO User without a previous StudyWorks account
The instructions that follow are specific to a Sponsor/CRO User (i.e., Sponsor Project Manager, Sponsor Data Manager, CRO Project Manager, etc.) that does not have an existing StudyWorks account.
These instructions pick up from when you entered the Study Name.
1. Click No and then Next.
2. Click Sponsor / CRO User.
3. Click the drop-down arrow next to Select an option and then select the most suitable Role.
4. Click the drop-down arrow next to Select an option and then select the most suitable Domain.
5. Click Next.
6. Enter your contact information by responding to each mandatory field. Mandatory fields show a red asterisk (*) next to the field title (e.g., Address *).
7. Click Submit Request.
8. Press Okay to dismiss the Success message. You will be redirected back to the Global Dashboard.
9. You'll receive an email that confirms your request to join a study is under consideration.
10. You'll receive a second email notification once your access request is approved. Click the Click Here link. The Clario Global Account login page will launch. You can now login to your account and access the study for which you were just approved.
Joining a study as a Sponsor/CRO User after already having a StudyWorks account
The instructions that follow are specific to a Sponsor or CRO User (i.e., Sponsor Project Manager, Sponsor Data Manager, CRO Project Manager, etc.) that has an existing StudyWorks account.
These instructions pick up from when you entered the Study Name.
1. Click Sponsor / CRO User.
2. Click the drop-down arrow next to Select an option and then select the most suitable role.
3. Click the drop-down arrow next to Select an option and then select the most suitable domain.
4. Click Submit Request.
5. Press Okay to dismiss the Success message. You will be redirected back to the Global Dashboard.
6. You'll receive an email that confirms your request to join a study is under consideration.
7. You'll receive a second email notification once your access request is approved. Click the Click Here link. The Clario Global Account login page will launch. You can now login to your account and access the study for which you were just approved.
Notable error messages
1. As shown on the screen, fields that are marked with an asterisk (*) are Mandatory Fields. They must be filled in. If you click outside of the field when it is not completed, the text box outline will turn red and an error message will appear (e.g., "This field is required."). Simply click inside the text box and enter your response to clear the error message.
2. You may encounter an error message that states your StudyWorks account is disabled because you entered the incorrect password. Contact Clario's Customer Care team to re-enable your StudyWorks account. Then continue with the Join a Study process to finish linking your product account.
3. If you enter incorrect user credentials, then you will receive an error message such as the one outlined here. We recommend you to re-enter both your user name and password, then press Link Account for a second time.
4. If your product account is already linked to your Clario Global Account, then you will receive an error message such as the one outlined here. There is no additional action to take to link your accounts. Press the Back button to exit the message screen.
