Multiple Modalities? No Problem!
Multi-modality support is now an inherent feature of the Clario Portal meaning you can navigate your visit tasks with ease.
Overview
The subject overview page now supports multimodality and alternate modality workflows, giving you a clearer picture of each participant’s imaging data. Instead of a single status per visit, you’ll now see exam-level statuses—so you know exactly what’s expected, what’s submitted, and what’s complete.
Here’s What’s New
Exam-Level Status
Please note that adding an alternative modality for an exam is optional. Users would not see acceptable alternative exams if they are not configured in the study visit schedule.
Note: Adding an alternate modality is optional and only available if configured in the study visit schedule. If no alternatives are set up, they won’t appear.
Modality-Specific QC Reports
View QC status for each exam—whether it's in progress or complete—directly from the Subject Overview page.
Note: While each exam includes a link to its QC report, the report itself is generated at the modality level. For example, if MR brain and MR spine are part of the study, a single MR report will cover both exams.
Skip Functionality
If an exam can’t be provided, it can be marked as skipped manually—or skipped automatically if it’s not uploaded and QC is completed for the modality.
Note: Whether skipped manually or automatically, the exam is committed to the database. You can still upload it later if needed.
Automatic Updates
Statuses update based on QC work item creation and completion.
Note: Exams remain in “Upload Expected” until a QC work item is created. Once QC begins, the status updates to “QC in Progress,” and then to “QC Complete” when finished.
