Use this article to learn how to find your site details, update your site’s address and shipping information, and edit the Principal Investigator record.

Follow the steps below to work through each part of the site editor.

Summary of Process Steps

Find Your Site Details

Locate your site in the Sites dashboard to open the site editor and review the information available for update.

Edit Site Details

Open Edit Site to review fields you can update, understand which fields are required, and adjust your site’s address and shipping information.

Edit the Principal Investigator

Use the Principal Investigator (PI) menu to update the PI’s name and title and save your changes before exiting the editor.

Find Your Site Details

Your site's information is shown in the Sites dashboard, including the site's address, shipping information, and principal investigator details.

To open the site details editor:

  1. Starting from Clario’s Global Dashboard, press Select Study or Organization.

  2. Choose your study from the drop-down list, or select Show more… to search for it.

  3. Select My Sites.

  4. Press Edit Site.

Why can’t I see my full address?

Depending on your screen size or resolution, long addresses may be shortened with an ellipsis (three dots). Hover over the address to see the full content when ellipses appear.

Edit Site Details

The site editor includes two menus: Site Details and Principal Investigator. This section introduces what you’ll see in each menu so you know which fields can be updated and how the form behaves.

Not Editable Fields

You cannot edit your Site Name or Site Number.

If these fields are incorrect, contact your sponsor or CRO team so they can update the information with Clario’s operations teams.

Handling Lengthy Street Addresses

Some addresses may be too long for a single field. Use multiple address fields, such as Address 1 and Address 2, to split the text if needed.

Optional fields can remain blank unless you have additional details to include.

Required vs. Optional

Some fields are required based on your selections.

For example, the Region field may be required for certain countries and optional for others. Required fields outline in red, and an error message appears if you try to continue without completing them.

Shipping Address Toggle

The Shipping address same as main address checkbox is selected by default.

If your shipping address is different from your main address, clear the checkbox and enter the correct shipping information.

To edit Site Details:

  1. Make edits by typing into free‑text fields (e.g., Address 1) or selecting from drop‑down menus (e.g., Country).

  2. Make sure all required fields are completed.

  3. Select Next.

  4. Select Save on the Principal Investigator menu if you do not need to make changes there and want to save your updates to the Site Details section.

Edit Principal Investigator

The second menu in the site editor is Principal Investigator. The fields in this menu behave the same way as those in Site Details.

To edit the Principal Investigator:

  1. Enter updates into free‑text fields (e.g., First Name, Last Name) or choose from drop‑down menus (e.g., Title).

  2. Make sure all required fields are completed.

  3. Select Save when you’re finished to exit the site editor and commit your updates to the Portal.

  4. After saving, you’ll return to the Sites dashboard and a success message briefly appears.

Additional navigation

You can select Previous to return to the Site Details menu and continue editing.

To exit without saving, select the X in the top‑right corner of the editor.
