Understanding DCRs and queries

Data correction requests (DCRs)

A DCR is used when a site needs to update or correct information that was already sent to Clario.

For example, you might submit a DCR to change:

  • A participant's year of birth

  • Gender

  • Age

  • Subject number

  • Visit number

Queries

A query is a question sent by Clario to the site when something needs clarification or action.

Clario may send a query when there is:

  • Missing data

  • Information that doesn't match

  • A concern about the order or timing of visits
