Overview
We’re excited to announce the latest improvement to managing subjects - gating options for configurable subject states. This addition activates specific rule sets to keep your subject compliant with visit workflows. Here’s what you need to know:
Purpose and functionality
Gating options tied to subject states serve multiple purposes, such as ensuring that subjects who have completed the study no longer have open visits. Visits can be automatically disabled until the subject reaches a certain state. These states act as gates between visit segments, helping to control protocol compliance effectively.
Configurable Gates
Subject states can be configured as gates for visit phases. If a subject reaches a gated state, all visits within that phase become available and are displayed in the Uploader Work List.
Unscheduled Visits can only be created if the subject has reached the respective phase.
Conditions necessary for observing this feature
This feature is available without any specific criteria. Simply log into your Clario Global Account, navigate to your study, and select the subject you want to focus on. You can view the subject state and their dates under View More on the subject-specific page.
