    The web interface is designed to not scale its format within the browser window in order to maintain equivalency with a physical tablet. It is recommended that sites use full-screen mode.

    For the best experience, please view eCOA at Site Web on a tablet or computer. Smartphone screens are too small and may affect usability.

    Online Account Requirements

    Before moving forward, please ensure that the site staff can successfully access these online systems:

    Clario Global Account

    Site staff should ensure they can log in with their credentials or create a new account.

    Study Account

    Site staff should ensure their request to join a study was approved by their sponsor or CRO teams.

    Allow Third-Party Cookies for Best Experience

    To ensure your Clario Global Account functions properly, please enable third-party cookies. Your Study Dashboard, including your ability to view the subject list, raise DCRs, and access reports, will not load when third-party cookies are blocked. Follow the instructions below for your preferred web browser.

    Contact your local IT representative to update these settings on your workstation if you're unsure how to make the changes or cannot make them yourself.


    Locating Your Startup Unlock Code

    1. Log into the Clario Portal: Enter your user credentials at: Clario Portal login.

    2. Access your study: Press Select Study or Organization and select your study from the list. Or click the desired 'Project Name' from the Recently Accessed list.

    3. Accessing the report: Tap Reports and select the 'Tablet Unlock Codes' report.

    4. Retain the unlock code: Leave the report open so that you can enter the Startup Unlock Code when necessary.

    Initializing eCOA Web Tablet

    Begin by logging in to the Clario Portal and opening your study. Follow the prompts on the screen, clicking Next to finish the setup.

    1. Start the application: Press Web eCOA Tablet to launch the application in a new tab.

    2. Configure the application: Select your site and preferred language. Then enter the Startup Unlock Code.

    3. Review license agreement: The conditions of the End User License must be accepted in order to proceed with tablet use.

    4. Add first user: Complete all form fields including re-entering the Startup Unlock Code to set up the Site Administrator.

    5. Log in: Enter your user credentials including selecting your user role and press Log in.

    Do not clear cache or delete your browser history!

    Doing so will require you to partially repeat this process and re-configure the application before you can access the welcome screen.


    Quick Access to eCOA Web Tablet

    Bookmark the app URL after setup for instant access. Just open the saved URL, log in, and start your eCOA activities with ease!


    Adding Site Users

    1. Login: Log in under your site administrator role.

    2. Manage users: Select Manage Site Users.

    3. Add user: Tap Add User.

    4. Complete form: Fill out the form and press Next.

    5. Review: Verify the information. Tap Back to edit, or Next if correct.

    6. Sign: Enter your signature and tap Next to add the new user.

    7. Return to home: Press the back arrow to return to the Home screen.

    8. Log out: Log out of eCOA at Site.

    9. New user logs in: The new user logs in with the Temporary Password and creates a permanent one.

    To ensure continuous access to the Web Tablet, please add at least two (2) site users. This precaution helps maintain accessibility and smooth operation, even during staff transitions.


    Adding New Patients

    1. Login: Enter your user credentials including selecting the correct user role to log into eCOA at Site Web.

    2. Add Patient: Press Add Patient to start the form.

    3. Subject Demographics: Enter the subject's demographics and assign a temporary password. Press Next.

    4. Subject Language: Select your subject's preferred language and press Next.

    5. Set Time Zone: Choose your site's time zone from the drop-down menu and press Next.

    6. Sign Affidavit: Enter your eCOA at Site Web password to sign the affidavit and press Next.

    7. Subject List: Tap the target subject shown in the subject list to begin clinical trial activities.
