    Expand for detailed instructions…

    Creating your subject

    1. Click Subjects.

    3. Complete the required form fields by making selections from the available drop-down menus, overwriting text directly (e.g., DD-MMM-YYYY), and/or selecting available dates after pressing the calendar icon.

Expand to learn tips for completing and editing forms…

    • You do not need to tap directly on the target text (e.g.,  Site ID,  1001) because the list is a table of many rows. So, you simply need to tap on the row containing the target text.

    • When entering a Subject ID, ensure that it matches the required format. Please refer to your study-specific reference materials if you are not aware of the Subject ID format.

    • Some drop-down menus present a Search option. You can use this option to search directly for the target selection (e.g., Year of birth, 2004) rather than scrolling to find the target selection.

    • Pressing the calendar icon brings up the Date Picker. Use the up and down arrows or browse by month to find your target date. You can also click Today if that is the date you’d like to select.

    4. Click Save when you have responded to each prompt and reviewed your entries.

A notification appears at the top of the screen signaling that your work was successfully saved. This message will automatically disappear or you can close it by pressing x.

    Editing a subject’s demographic information

    1. After identifying the target subject that requires demographic edits, click the ellipse (i.e., three dots, ...) and then press Edit.

    2. Make the appropriate edits by selecting the editable fields that are not greyed out.

Remember that the Edit Subject forms may different between studies. So, you may have different fields available to edit.

    3. Click Save when you're finished making edits.

    4. Provide the reason for change by selecting the options from the drop down menu. When you select Other, you'll need to type the reason.

    5. Click Save.

A notification appears at the top of the screen signaling that your work was successfully saved. This message will automatically disappear or you can close it by pressing x.

    Notable errors

    1. You'll receive an error message when you attempt saving a Create Subject form and the Subject ID does not meet the required format. Update the Subject ID and then press Save again.
