# Getting Started

## Welcome!

You're just a few steps away from getting started with clinical activities.

First, find the **invitation** we sent you. It includes a link to our online web application—tap the link to begin.

Next, you'll review **Clario's Terms of Use**:

- Read through the terms on the screen.
- Acknowledge them to continue.

Finally, you'll create your **username and password**, and your account setup will be complete.

## Find Your Invitation

Depending on what you chose, your invitation will arrive either as a text message on your phone or an email in your inbox.

Just follow the steps below for the option you selected, and then look for your invitation to continue.

### Starting from SMS

When a message arrives on your phone:

1. **Tap the notification** to open your messaging app.
2. **Tap the link** in the message. This will open Clario’s web application in your browser so you can get started.

### Starting from Email

When an email arrives:

1. **Tap "Start Setup"** or
2. **Scan the QR code** in the email. This will open Clario’s web application in your browser so you can get started.

## Review the Terms of Use

**The first screen welcomes you to the clinical trial and shows basic details like your study name, site number, and chosen language.**

Next, you'll review Clario's Terms of Use:

1. **Tap "Terms of Use"** to open them.
2. **Read through the content** on the screen.
3. **Tap the "X"** to close the terms.
4. **Tap "Acknowledge"** to continue.

## Set Up Your Account

**Now it's time to create your username and password.**

### Create a Username

Choose something easy to remember that doesn't include personal details.

- Examples: CoffeeGeek, CatLover18, Bookworm21

### Create a Password

Your password must include:

- At least 8 characters
- One digit
- One uppercase letter
- One lowercase letter

**Tap "Save"** to finish. You'll see a success message—just tap **"OK"** to move on.

## You're In! What Happens Next

**You're now logged in to Clario’s web application and on your main dashboard.**

If you don't see any tasks yet, that's okay. You may see a message saying there are no activities scheduled. We'll notify you when something is available, based on your chosen notification preferences.

## Supported Browsers

**Clario’s web application works on most modern devices and browsers.**

We've tested it on phones, tablets, and computers using the latest versions of Android, iOS, and major browsers like Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.

If you're using an older device or browser, you might notice small visual differences (like fonts or colors), but everything should still work as expected.
