# Hello! New Multi-Modality Query Experience

**Targeted eDTF Editing with Multi-Modality Studies**

**Multi-modality support is now an inherent feature of the Clario Portal meaning you edit eDTFs in response to modality-specific queries.**

## Overview

When uploading data for multimodality studies, you’ll now see smarter handling of electronic Data Transfer Forms (eDTFs). If there’s an open query tied to a specific modality, only the eDTF for that modality becomes editable. All others remain read-only—helping prevent accidental changes to completed forms.

- **Uploading Data?** The eDTF for the uploaded modality and the queried modality becomes editable. All others stay locked.
- **No Upload, Just Reviewing?** The eDTF for the queried modality is editable. Others remain read-only.
- **Visit-Level Forms?** If configured, these become editable whenever there’s an open query or new data upload.
