Clario **eCOA at Home** is a participant-centered software application, or "app", assigned to a single study participant. It is used to capture data throughout the clinical trial. The information collected in your study might include one, or both, of the following types of clinical data: - **ePRO** Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes. - **eCOA** Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments. > There may also be other types of data collected. Consult the study-specific eLearning module in your study's **Clario Learn** curriculum to learn about the specific configurations and usage of **eCOA at Home** in your study. ## What is eCOA at Site? Clario **eCOA at Site** is a site-centered software application, or "app", used to capture data throughout the clinical trial. The software is typically accessed only at the site during site visits. **eCOA at Site** is also used for administrative tasks such as adding the participant to the study. Despite being called **eCOA at Site**, the information collected in your study might include one, or both, of the following types of clinical data: - **ePRO** Electronic Patient Reported Outcomes. - **eCOA** Electronic Clinical Outcome Assessments. > There may also be other types of data collected. Consult the study-specific eLearning module in your study's **Clario Learn** curriculum to learn about the specific configurations and usage of **eCOA at Site** in your study. ## How is eCOA at Home accessed? The **eCOA at Home** app can be accessed in different ways called, modalities. Each modality is designed to have the same general appearance and function. #### On a Clario handheld #### On your Participant's smartphone #### On the Web at Home ## How is eCOA at Site accessed? The **eCOA at Site** app can be accessed in different ways called, modalities. Each modality is designed to have the same general appearance and function. #### On a Clario tablet #### On the Web at Site ## When is eCOA at Home accessed? The participant should be able to access **eCOA at Home** whenever needed whether they are at home, shopping, at the doctor's office, or even while on vacation. **It should also be brought to every site visit!** Please refer to the study protocol and/or the study specific portion of this eLearning curriculum to determine exactly when **eCOA at Home** is used in your study. ## When is eCOA at Site accessed? **eCOA at Site** is generally used at site visits when either eCOA or ePRO data needs to be collected. Please refer to the study protocol and/or the study specific portion of this eLearning curriculum to determine exactly when **eCOA at Site** is used in your study. Clario provisioned handheld that is shipped to your site with **eCOA at Home** installed. It also includes security software that prevents the phone from being used for non-study purposes. The Clario smartphones are returned to Clario at the end of the study. **eCOA at Home** application that is downloaded onto participant's smartphone from the iOS or Android app stores. **eCOA at Home** software that is accessible in an internet browser. **eCOA at Site** can be accessed on a physical tablet device provisioned by Clario. These devices stay at the site throughout the study. **eCOA at Site** can be accessed on the web. In this circumstance, a site user needs to use a computer at the clinic to log into the **Clario Portal** and gain access.
